Modern AP Biology has shifted away from memorisation toward experimental design, data interpretation, and quantitative reasoning. Roughly 40% of MCQs are now data-grounded and ask students to draw conclusions from a chart or experiment they've never seen, which is why our lessons pair every concept with a small data set and a guided 'claim-evidence-reasoning' walkthrough.

We prioritise Units 3 (Cellular Energetics) and 6 (Gene Expression) because together they account for ~40% of the exam and are where students with weaker biochemistry backgrounds tend to lose the most ground. Every lesson in those units links back to the four AP Big Ideas explicitly.
