Essay Structure
Introduction (1 paragraph)
- Hook or context statement
- Briefly acknowledge the three perspectives
- State YOUR thesis clearly
Body Paragraphs (2-3 paragraphs)
Each paragraph should:
- State a clear topic sentence
- Analyze one or more perspectives
- Provide specific examples and reasoning
- Explain how your analysis supports your thesis
Conclusion (1 paragraph)
- Restate your position
- Summarize key points
- End with a broader insight
High-Scoring Tips
- Address all three perspectives
- Use specific examples from history, current events, or personal experience
